Editorial

Framework 52 is a comprehensive two-issue set. Issue 1 covers Peter Whitehead’s work through the 1960s. Issue 2 covers Peter Whitehead’s work from the early 1970s to the present. Dossiers include archives of his own material and critiques by contemporary authors, with a focus on his films Daddy, Fire in the Water, and Terrorism Considered as One of the Fine Arts, as well as film treatments of unrealized projects. But this issue has a great emphasis on Whitehead’s life beyond cinema, covering some of his most beloved work—as a publisher, falconer, novelist, and potter.
